The Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar honored the top taxpayers of the country for 2018-2019 tax year on 10 Aug 2020. The president, His Excellency U Win Myint attended the ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Naypyidaw and presented awards to the outstanding taxpayers for income tax, commercial tax, and specific goods tax.

“The Clean Water Project” of Grand Royal Group International Co.,Ltd is the initiative which provides water treatment plants and digs wells in order to tackle the shortage of access to clean water in Myanmar.
In 2020, the group of companies was collaborating with the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation to implement the projects in Magway and Mandalay Regions and Mon State.

Grand Royal Group International Co.,Ltd (GRGI) is proud to announce that the company has been recognized as “Gold Level” among the top corporate social responsibility program in 2020 powered by American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (AMCHAM).
This was truly one of the milestones accomplishments of the organization in this COVID-19 pandemic situation, taking challenges in 2020 and GRGI was given this AMCHAM CSR Excellence award consecutively in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 as well.
Through National Level Central Committee for Prevention, Control and Treatment of COVID-19 and Ministry of Health and Sports, since the beginning of the first wave, as a show of support towards the people of Myanmar, the company donated 200,000 bottles of hand sanitizers worth of 500 million Myanmar Kyats, to the State and Regional Health Departments, Public Hospitals, Government Offices, COVID-19 Committees, Quarantine Centers, Local Foundations, Monasteries, Nunneries, Charities and Local NGOs supporting the pandemic relief efforts.

Under the guidance of Ministry of Health and Sports, in order to control, prevent and fight against COVID-19, Grand Royal Group International Co.,Ltd (GRGI) put up STOP COVID-19 Campaign public awareness signboards within designated locations at Yangon Central Railway Station, which encourage passengers’ safety with the reminder of wearing masks, washing hands, keeping 6 feet social distancing, let each other know and remind each other, to prevent COVID-19.
